PROJEKT 1919 represents a new chapter for Alfred Thun GmbH. For over a century, our facility in Ennepetal, Germany, has been quietly producing components backed by generations of metalworking expertise. PROJEKT 1919 was created to take that deep industrial heritage and channel it directly into boutique bicycle components, manufactured for riders who value true engineering over mass market volume.

We are purposefully launching with a core product lineup centered on the heart of the drivetrain: bottom brackets, cranks, and chainrings. Produced in small batch runs and in limited edition releases, every single piece is manufactured from carefully selected material, carved on precision multi-axis CNC machinery, and inspected to the uncompromising tolerances our Ennepetal factory was built on. By keeping production tight and focused, we ensure that every component leaving our facility reflects pure German precision, exceptional structural integrity, and long-term durability.
